Primary Program Overview

Buckhead Prep boasts an exceptional early learning program that fuses teacher-led accelerated learning with a multi-sensory approach. Children are encouraged to become responsible citizens of their classroom community. Teachers provide guided tasks which promote independence and allow the children ownership over their own learning. In this program:

  • Students develop and refine reading, math, and handwriting skills, while building an academic foundation for lifelong learning.
  • Students will develop socialization skills that will enhance their interaction with peers and adults.
  • Students will also learn about culture and the world that they live in through lessons of art, music, science, history, and citizenship.

Understanding that our students are individuals, we have developed proven programs that incorporate the flexibility to facilitate the learning attributes of each student. Our dedicated educators will work to stimulate the curiosity of our students in an interactive manner with the mission of making the process fun. Ultimately, Buckhead Prep serves as a platform for our students to flourish and to develop the confidence and skills that will serve them during their subsequent journeys through life. Parents may choose from two, three, and five-day options.

  • Preschool Program

Toddler Program

We have designed our Toddler Program for children who are 18 -24 months at the time of matriculation. Children enrolled in the Toddler program do not need to be fully potty-trained. Students acquire an orientation and a structured routine in a school environment, learn to work independently, develop social and language skills, and participate in group activities.

Primary Program

Our primary classes offer a blend of Montessori and traditional learning. Children are encouraged to become responsible citizens of their classroom community. Teachers provide guided tasks which promote independence and allow the children ownership and agency over their learning. Children must be fully potty-trained to enroll in our primary program.

Preschool Program

Students in BPS' Primary PreK-4 and PreK-5 programs are carefully designed to prepare students for kindergarten.

This is accomplished through a mixture of 1:1 academic instruction, independent practice, whole-group activities, and structured & unstructured play opportunities.

Students graduate the Pre-K program confident, academically ready, and prepared for their next step of education.
