Amanda McGehee

Amanda was born to a family of educators and has over 21 years of teaching experience. She has taught 1st-5th grades in both public and independent schools across Atlanta. She earned a degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University, Graduating Magna Cum Laude, and has a Master's Degree in Education Leadership.  

Amanda was the recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching, the highest honor a teacher can receive. When she's not at school she is at NYO watching her daughters play softball, reading a book, or walking her golden retriever, Hank.
