Frequently Asked Question...
What time does school begin?
Primary carline for Toddler through Kindergarten begins at 8:15am.
1st Grade through 4th Grade carline begins at 7:45am.
The school day begins at 8:00am.
Is there anything available for my child when the school day is over?
We offer enriching after school activities for Kindergarten through Grade 4 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm and extended care is available from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
We have also partnered with Haverty Hollow, a third party after school program who will pick your child up from school and take them to their facility.
How will you help my child transition into their new school?
A Bucks Student Ambassador and staff member will give your child a tour around the school to help them become familiar with spaces and places, and also to give your child an opportunity to ask any questions they may have in an informal environment. New students will also be assigned a partner or a buddy in their class who will serve as a guide to help new students learn rules and routines. In addition, our teachers and staff have a wealth of experience with helping new students to settle in and feel safe.

What extracurriculars or specials will my child attend during the school day?
Spanish, art, music, and physical exercise are infused throughout the curriculum for Primary students.
1st Grade through Grade 3 students attend one extracurricular each day. Extracurriculars include art, music, Spanish, and physical education.

When will my child be taught reading and writing?
Reading and writing skills are taught from age 2 and older. Buckhead Prep teaches the individual child. Teachers meet students where they are at academically and continually take them to the next level of academic achievement.

How does the school communicate important news and events?
The school communicates severe weather and other emergency situations via phone, text, and/or email. Staff and/or teachers send emails on a weekly basis with class and school happenings, pictures, and announcements.
