Mission Statement
We strive to help every child we meet improve through learning, growth, and experience. Academics are our foundation, citizenship our philosophy. We spend our time preparing students for the academic challenges ahead while developing their interpersonal interactions and encouraging curiosity.
Our teachers are essential to our team's success! As we are a boutique preschool in growth phase, we are always looking for fresh perspectives and new talent in our classrooms.
The objectives of teaching at Buckhead Prep include:
- Fitting our curriculum to the individual learning styles, talents, and personalities of our students;
- Promoting independence while teaching body control and encouraging growth;
- Nurturing students and engaging them with energy and excitement;
- Cultivating friendship and fun!
To maintain our superior standards, Buckhead Prep requires at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. We highly prefer for our lead teachers to have Masters degrees, or equivalent work experience.
Teachers at Buckhead Prep must be patient, fun-loving, energetic, and creative. Our teachers are expected to work in teams with other academic teachers, as well as art, music, and other extracurricular staff.
Buckhead Prep expects that its employees be flexible in their assignments. Buckhead Prep teachers must treat each other with superior levels of professionalism and respect.
