     The Buckhead Prep curriculum is designed to give each child a firm grounding in basic subjects and the confidence to respond enthusiastically and happily to new experiences and new ideas. The curriculum  emphasizes reading, handwriting, and math, but also includes geography, history, art and music appreciation, social graces, practical life and sensorial activities, and physical education.

     In a relaxed atmosphere, each child is encouraged to develop positive work habits, and to become independent, self-sufficient, adventurous, responsible, and kind. While the curriculum is carefully planned and objectives are clearly defined, classroom procedure is sufficiently flexible to allow for attention to variations in developmental levels and for small group instruction.
