Mothers’ Morning Out

For children 18-30 months at the time of matriculation

 8:30 AM-12:00 PM

Our Mothers’ Morning Out program is designed to help our youngest students adjust to a school environment. They learn to work independently, but also spend time adjusting to group participation and activity. Language development, mathmatical concepts and awareness of self are part of the child's daily experience.

Morning Academic Preschool

For children 2.5-4 years at the time of matriculation

Our Morning Academic Preschool emphasizes academic development in a fun, nurturing environment. In this program we build foundations for Atlanta’s upper level academic environments, interacting with peers and adults, and becoming responsible citizens.

School Day Program

For children 5 years old at the time of matriculation

8:30 AM-2:30 PM

Our School Day program is modeled after an elementary school day experience. We prepare our students to spend more time on academics than play, as they will in first grade. With more independence we expect more responsibility so that our students will be primed for entry into an elementary environment.

     The Buckhead Prep curriculum is designed to give each child a firm grounding in basic subjects and the confidence to respond enthusiastically and happily to new experiences and new ideas. The curriculum emphasizes rapid-learn reading, handwriting, and math, but also includes geography, history, art and music appreciation, social graces, practical life and sensorial activities, and physical education. 


In a relaxed atmosphere, each child is encouraged to develop positive work habits, and to become independent, self-sufficient, adventurous, responsible, and kind. While the curriculum is carefully planned and objectives are clearly defined, classroom procedure is sufficiently flexible to allow for attention to variations in developmental levels and for small group instruction.

Buckhead Prep offers our students a well-rounded education.  In addition to our academic programs, we offer art, music, cultural enrichment, philanthropic opportunities, field trips, and guest speakers.
